whose combined household income meets the criteria for this affordable housing program.

What are the income limits for this project ? 

This project has units that are available to“ LOW, MODERATE & WORKFORCE INCOME” qualified applicants whose combined household income, including assets, meet the criteria for this affordable housing project “ LOW, MODERATE & WORKFORCE INCOME” is defined as the total combined gross annual income for all members of a household whose total income is greater than 50% but does not exceed 120%, of the area median income for the Jersey City FMR Metro Area as defined by the US department of of Housing and Urban Development for 2022.

Household annual income must fall between the minimum and maximum limits.

Income limits for 2022 are as follows: 

LOW INCOME LIMITS

Combined annual gross household income 

must not exceed Maximum 50 % AMI :

 

1 Person household must not exceed maximum of $40,250 

2 Person household must not exceed maximum of $46,000 

3 Person household must not exceed maximum of $51,750 

4 Person household must not exceed maximum of $57,450

5 Person household must not exceed maximum of $62,050

MODERATE INCOME LIMITS

Combined annual gross household income must be within the

Minimum 50 % AMI and Maximum 80 % AMI :

 

1 Person household must earn between $48,300 and $64,400

2 Person household must earn between $55,200 and $73,600

3 Person household must earn between $62,100 and $82,800

4 Person household must earn between $68,984 and $91,920

WORKFORCE INCOME LIMITS

Combined annual gross household income must be within the

Minimum 80 % AMI and Maximum 120 % AMI :

1 Person household must earn between $64,400 and  $ 96,600

2 Person household must earn between $73,600 and  $110,400

3 Person household must earn between $82,800 and  $124,200

4 Person household must earn between $91,920 and  $137,880

5 Person household must earn between $99,280 and  $148,920
